The Sigh Press (2014-2019) is a quarterly online literary and art journal for writers of English in Tuscany, visual artists who speak any language, and readers everywhere.

TSP features well known authors and artists and those published for the first time on TSP pages. Contributors must have a relationship with Tuscany as residents or visitors, even a brief one as long as the creative work submitted originated, was in part created, or was completed in Tuscany. The work does not need to regard Tuscany in any way. Each issue has a theme, which provides a loose framework. We invite any interpretation or reference to the issue theme. Please see this SAMPLE ISSUE (Issue 5, Summer 2015) to gain a sense of what TSP is and VISIT THE WEBSITE for all issues and other information.

Every publication features one visual artist and is curated to include some combination of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and cultural commentary that can be comfortably read in one sitting.

In 2016, The Sigh Press inaugurated AMPERSAND, a quarterly interview series published between issues.

The Sigh Press was founded in 2014 by Lyall Harris and Mundy Walsh in Florence, Italy. After 23 issues and 14 Ampersand Interviews, Winter 2019 marked the last issue of The Sigh Press.
